Glad to hear it! Yes, enzymes help to break down the foods we eat into smaller particles that are digested more easily by the body. Although they are found in most raw foods, the standard American diet (or SAD) consists mainly of cooked and heavily processed foods that are virtually depleted of their beneficial enzymes. Certainly if you eat plenty of raw foods you may find that your digestive issues decrease or resolve altogether, but for those with frequent digestive trouble daily enzymes provide a simple, natural way to find relief and are safe to take long-term. DigestMORE Ultra is a straight enzyme formula (meaning it contains only enzymes) and the 14 plant-derived enzymes in the formula are proven effective at breaking down a wide variety of foods (including fats, proteins, carbs, dairy, etc.) and improving digestion and nutrient absorption.

I read somewhere on this website that digestive enzymes can help if you eat a lot of cooked foods. I am noticing significant relief to some digestive upset I was having eating certain foods (i.e. stomach pain/cramps/bloating) by taking Digestmore Ultra. Those symptoms are completely gone if I take the digestive enzyme.  If you add in a lot more raw foods can you eventually provide your body the enzymes needed to break food down, and is that even possible if you have had poor digestion? I don't really know what foods to eat to break down fats, or proteins and are there really raw foods that give you enzymes for all of the food categories we eat (protein, carbohydrate, fat) or do you have to just take enzymes for life?
